As members of OPEIU-153 we understand the need to expand union power in our country, and make it easier for all working people to reap the benefits and protections of unionizing.
The PRO Act is a major step toward leveling the playing field between workers and employers. It will repeal "Right to Work" legislation, establish penalties against union-busting employers, prevent employers from permanently replacing strikers, and expedite the process for new unions to negotiate a strong first contract.
